Terri Hasseler

Terri began work with Theater of the Oppressed in college classrooms, teaching and developing forum theater and newspaper theater with a women-identified living and learning community. Bryant University has an under-represented number of women-identified folx, creating difficulties in belonging and advocacy. For three years, Terri been working in the local educational community with Hope High School on shared forum theater and theater of the oppressed activities. She has gone through multiple trainings with Theater of the Oppressed NYC focused on forum theater, facilitation, newspaper theater, legislative theater, aesthetics of the oppressed, and rainbow of desire. She is a hand papermaker and integrates art and theater of the oppressed in work with students in the community and at Bryant University.
