Holly E. McDonald is a Senior Lecturer at UCF’s School of Performing Arts, a Women’s and Gender Studies Faculty Affiliate, and a member of We the Liberated People of the Debt Collective Theatre Activism Troupe. She holds an MFA from the University of Alabama and a BFA from West Virginia University. Prior to joining UCF Holly worked in Washington, D.C. as an actor, activist/organizer and applied teaching-artist. She currently works with undergraduate as well as graduate students. Course development and instruction include Intermediate acting, Theatre for Social Change, Diversity in Theatre, Global Theatre, Women in Theatre, Queer Theatre, theatre survey, and individual coaching. Holly was the first UCF theatre faculty member to develop and instruct a completely web-based theatre course.
