Amanda Masterpaul is a Teaching Associate with the Theatre Department, specializing in Applied Theatre and Theatre of the Oppressed practices in addition to teaching Women's and Gender Studies classes at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. She came to the PTO conference for this first time in Chapel Hill, NC in 2006 and she was immediately hooked into this type of life-changing praxis. Throughout her career, she has worked as a teacher, director, facilitator, community organizer and coordinator alongside multiple community partners and civic learning programs.
