Oxford Brookes University
I graduated in Social Education from the Higher Education School of Education (ESEP) in Porto (Portugal). I also concluded two Postgraduate Certificates: one in Psychopathology and Psychotherapy of Childhood and Adolescents and one in Social Intervention with children and young people in risk of social exclusion.

I came across Theatre of the Opressed in Portugal and I participated in various workshops facilitated by Hugo Cruz, José Soeiro and Bárbara Santos.
I have a particular passion for Theatre of the Oppressed, Drama and Social Circus and I have been further developing these interests through my work with children and young people, in different countries and social contexts.

I taught Community Development, Psychology of Education and Group Dynamics at the National University of East Timor (UNTL).
I also worked at the Mulberry Bush School, a therapeutic community for severely traumatized children. During this time, I completed a two years Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Work with Children and Young People, where I won the prize for the best final project: "Juggling as a therapeutic approach to working with traumatized children".

In 2022 I completed a Masters in Dramatherapy at the University of Roehampton (London, England).
Since May 2021 l work as a lecturer in Social Work at Oxford Brookes University.
